Vinylmore: Velvis by Tony Shore

Tony Shore is a painter who lives in Baltimore and is known for his paintings on black velvet depicting blue collar life in Baltimore. He is a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts, The Maryland Institute College of Art, and Yale University School of Art. He is currently a professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art and is the Executive Director and Founder of Access Art, a community based art program in Southwest Baltimore. He has exhibited his work throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe and Asia. He is represented locally by the C. Grimaldis Gallery.

Our art toy show, Vinylmore, will have its opening night party @ atomic POP on Friday, March 7. We have over 50 different artists participating, working with Qees, Munnies, and various other blanks. We've started receiving toys for the show, so we'll be posting some of what you can see here.
